I love K-9. I’m of the opinion that the old episodes were great in a different way for that generation and the new episodes are great for this generation. ;P

  5. aper26 says:

haha he seems abit ruder than usual telling K-9 and Leela to shut up the whole time

  6. aper26 says:

except of late….i saw no change between eccleston and tennants tardis

  11. TheTurnipKing says:

K9 really should have been upgraded into an AIBO for the latest series, though. Robot Dogs have come a long way since the Mark I ;)

  12. DoctorWhoFullEpisode says:

K-9 is really cool, it would be good if he came back again!

  13. wdsdyschild says:

I’m a Doctor Who fan from way back and I really, really love K-9! Great clip! Thanks!

  14. Jourell1 says:

Technically it would be two dimensional but in any case it probably a reference to three dimensional chess which was popularized in the Original Star Trek

  15. Jourell1 says:

Yes, in this era at least. It changes somewhat most of the times the doctor regenerates

  16. B7Scorpio says:

A clip from back when Doctor Who was a truly great show.
It’s nothing short of amazing how the BBC had in it’s possesion one of the best television shows ever produced, and then decided to spend pretty much the entire 1980’s doing every thing they could think of to completely wreck it.

  17. kesh101 says:

is dat wat de tardis used to look like?

  18. jamanticus says:

Yeah- both Doctors are so wonderful… I’ve seen more of the 4th Doctor, so he’s my favorite at the moment.

  19. KendraSwan says:

Oh dear, I’m torn between the fourth or the tenth Doctor as my favorites… This one was just so funny and had kind of a serious but not too serious attitude, whereas the tenth Doctor is just plain old “I’m gonna tell you what’s what and don’t correct me ‘cos I’m right, damnit” kind of way. Tennent it so funny though! I’m toooooorn!!!!!!
    “I’ll be good!”

  20. WagrudisG says:

    One dimensional?

  21. batmanofni says:

But we all know the non-cannon spin off will be rubbish as it’s not by the BBC, the people who own the right to k-9 (the BBC don’t) feel that this spin off would be a better use of K-9.

  22. batmanofni says:

This is a brilliant clip, this is when the Doctor still didn’t really like K-9.

  23. schlicktown says:

ja its CGI and it looks a bit japanese tho
maybe its K-9.2 beta or something

  24. hartunian says:

Actually, he was seen twice in Sarah Jane Adventures. Though the lack of his presence in the show was because of they wanted his character out of the spotlight so they could work on the new spinoff without conflicts in the storyline.

  25. hartunian says:

Yup, there is. Doesn’t really look like the original K9 though. Computer generated K9.
